Claud poured primer down the push pull rods and spray painted the landing gear legs after sanding some supereficial rust that had already formed on them. We also primed the inside of the steps which are steel. I finished pulling the pop rivets that had to be used on the flap gap fairings and finished squeezing and driving the rest of the #4's on the gap fairings. I did not have enough of the #3's to rivet the skins to the fairings so they are on the way from Wick's. The cherry max rivets that are needed on the ends of the gap fairings are also back-ordered and will be a while.We began assembling the aileron bell cranks. One of the parts had a defect in the welding so that a bushing would not go through it. They are sending one out to me from Van's free. All in all was a good day. The few rivets that we drove turned out well.... for a change.
