Brief Description: Drove #4 rivets today; best yet
Today, I brought a 30 gallon air compressor that I got at Lowe's to the hangar. The 6 gallon one jsut couldn't hack it. Kieth gave me a different regulator for the rivet gun and the combination seemed to really make a difference! Claud and I practiced some and drove the rest of the rivets for the outboard aileron hinges. We had to drill one old rivet out and did that without problem! Tomorrow I will work on assmebling the inboard aileron hinge brakets and hopefully priming them so we can rivet them on on Monday when Claud will be there to help. He is getting to be an expert bucker!!!!! For the first time today, I feel that there is hope for the project. I would like to mount something on the fuselage though, like the tail feathers so people will see that we are actually doing something.
