Brief Description: New Brackets for Avionics Stack
Located the new avionic brackets on the forward side of the instrument panel. Mocked the assembly of the brackets with the avionic trays to ensure all of the locator holes in fact locate properly. The CNC machine drilled locator holes in both the brackets and the instrument panel for the attachment screws.
Located and marked the bend line for the brake, bent the brackets to create 90 degree bends for the nut plates which the mounting screws will use. Located the nut plates, marked and drilled for the final hole size, and the rivets that will attach the nut plates. Counter sunk the holes for the nut plate rivets. Attached the nut plates to the brackets.
Test fitted the avionic hardware into the new brackets to make sure everything fits. CNCs are awesome !!
