Brief Description:  Avionics - Magnetometer Bracket Install

Proceeded with installing the Magnetometer bracket in the fuse...

• Located the exact location for the bracket, clamped with side clamp clecoes.
• Drilled #40 pilot holes, two per location, for a total of 8 holes for 8 rivets.
• Final drilled #30 the 8 holes for the AN470 4-5 rivets.
• Removed and Deburred drilled holes in the bracket and supporting fuse structure.
• Clecoed the bracket in placed, and...

o Attempted to use my larger hand squeezer, thinking there might be enough clearance - no go.
o Attempted to use my smaller hand squeezer, thinking sure there is enough clearance - no go.
o ok, might have to buck these rivets, rather not, so I decided to try the pneumatic squeezer, turns out there is just enough clearance to use this squeezer for the 8 rivets, proceeded to rivet the bracket in place.

Double checked the bracket installation distance on the left and right side, all is well relative to the bracket being installed squarely in the fuse and the front oriented along the center line of the aircraft. I think the GMU 22 and Dynon Magnetometers will appreciate this.
