Designed and built the brackets to hold the GTR 20 Remote Comm radio. I decided to mount the radio underneath the GTX 23 transponder. • Cut four equal lengths of aluminum L-Angle in order to create two U-shaped brackets. Trimmed the four cuts to fit inside the previously rivet L-Angle in the transponder mounting tray. • Drilled and countersunk two pair of L-Angle for CS4-4 blind rivets • Riveted the pair of L-Angle together with CS4-4 rivets creating two U-Shaped brackets. • Test fitted the U-shaped brackets to the bottom of the transponder support tray to locate holes for attaching the bracket, and test fitting the GTR 20 radio.
