Brief Description: Installed alternator and spinner plate fixture
I installed the alternator and a made a fixture out of wood to hold the spinner mounting ring at the proper distance from the starter ring gear. I did this since it will make working on (fitting) the cowling easier than it would be if the propellor was mounted. I had measured a distance of 3 1/32 inch between the the edge of the starter ring gear and the spinner edge when I assembled the spinner to the propellor mounted on a bench.
