Brief Description: Installation of Parking Brake Valve
Off & on from 6/6 thru 6/13 for a total of 8.5 hours, the installation of the Beringer parking brake has been completed. Shortly after beginning the installation, while sorting through the part listing/instructions; something did not pass the commonsense test. I reached out to Steve at Aircraft Specialty for his opinion regarding my concern. In true form, Steve's outstanding focus to customer service resolved the problem in short order. Beringer had sent me the wrong parking brake valve. Steve contacted Beringer directly to expedite the replacement.
Once the correct valve was received, the installation was straight forward. I have elected not to install the supplied Dural Knob Control but to upgrade it to an A-700 Button Lock Control, which I'll shop for at Air Adventure this year.
