Getting the brace in place to match drill it to the canopy and the fuse as a bit of a chicken and an egg problem. You have to lift the canopy at the same time you insert the bottom tab of the brace into the slot in the top of the forward upper fuse.
Once I got everything aligned, I matched drilled the brace to the canopy and to the middle upper fuse rib.
