Brief Description:  More tailcone items

More tailcone clean-up items that I had been putting off since I didn‘t really like climbing into it. So I bit the bullet, filled the tailcone with pillows and moved out. First, I installed the G3X’s magnetometer in its bracket. Took a look at how I was going to run the wiring harness from it back up to the AHRS and discovered that the CPC already installed on the magnetometer end of the wiring harness was too big to fit through the wiring conduit I had installed—Crap! No choice now but to cut the CPC off, run the harness through the conduit, then reinstall the CPC (I’ll do that later). Speaking of conduit, I split what I had left from the 50’ roll I bought from Van’s into equal lengths, approx 4 ft long, and drilled holes into the J-channel about 12” apart and zip tied the conduit in-place on either side of the tailcone. My reasoning for doing this is so that I can easily add wiring without having to crawl back into the tailcone to secure it. I also installed the OHC air supply that consists of a 2" bulkhead through fillting and 2" SCAT (not really SCAT but I don't remember the right nomenclature) that runs from the fitting to the NACA vent. Finally, I installed my van’s ELT mounting bracket on the left side of the tailcone and added the attachment bands that came with the ELT.
