I decided to install a tunnel mod to add an access panel from the side, pliot side in my case. This involved installing a kit I bought. I could have fab'd it myself but decided to save some time. Installing the access panel was straight forward. Clecoed the doubler in-place and match drilled the doubler rivet holes into the fuse rib. Used the doubler as a template and traced the cutout on to the left fuse rib. I then used my Dremel to make the cuts and filed to final size. I dilled, dimpled, and riveted the nutplates on. Finally I riveted the doulber on and screwed the panel into place.
