My antenna plan was to mount the comm antennas in the 2nd to most outboard rear seat rib bay. So I decided to go ahead and work on those mounts before I completed the side skins making access a little more difficult. Bascially what I did was to use some scrap alum sheet that I layed out some bend lines based upon the dimensions of the bay and made bent into the doublers. Using the template that came with the Rami bent whip antennas, I marked the mounting and connector holes on the doubler and drilled to size. I then clecoed the doubler in-place and match drilled to the fuse bottom skin.
