Brief Description: Attached tiedowns and misc nutplates
Final drilled the #40 and #30 holes as directed in spar web, and CSK’d for the nutplates. I was then able to squeeze the wing attach nutplate rivets plus 3 AN426s that for some reason are done by the builder. I had to shoot the fuel tank nutplates as my squeezer wouldn’t reach them. I ended up having to back rivet the 2 nutplate rivets per spar that were close to the step bars as the flush set just wouldn’t fit. Bolted and riveted on the tie down brackets (and aileron bellcrank brackets) to the spars. Had some issues with the bolts that went into the nutplates. They were really hard to turn so I dipped each one in Boelube and the problem was solved. Applied torque seal to the bolts/nuts.
