Brief Description:  Cabin Countersinking, Pitch Servo installation

We have been doing quite a bit around the house over the last few weeks so pane work has taken a little backwards step.

Friday and Saturday, my brother Michael has been under the house replacing the heating ducts while I tried to help. Basically, I'm to fat to fit under there and he is not..... :-)

Today, Paul came over in the afternoon and we completed off some countersinking of the Cabin Top and prepared the dimples for cabin fitment. Worked out really well. No pictures as it really hasn't changed much.

We also test fit the Pitch servo to the pitch bell crank. I was a little disappointed that the fiting instructions did not give any measurements for the hole to be drilled. After a lot of searching I cam across the following information.

"The hole is 2.5" up from pivot point and 0.25" aft. Those are rough dimensions, they don't have to be perfect. Anywhere in that region will work. Lucas: Trutrak Tech Support "

Basically this is where the hole was drilled and it looks like it is a reasonable position. Maybe up to 1/2" aft would set the position better for roll, however this will only really be tested in flight for the real effective use.
