Mounted weight compartment door and was disappointed to see it did not sit flat. Prised the mounted nutplate off the nose, cleaned up a bit, taped the door, mounted the nutplate properly on the door. More flox and clamped the door on to the nose with a hot glue block.
Part way through this process I noted that most of the main nose door screws were also a bit skew-whiff, so cut them out and did the same process, finishing the main door first for some strange reason. Previously, when the screws were tightened there was some local distortion of the door, complicating the fill process. Now the door will pull up tight on the mounted nutplates.
Refitted some parting slips and topped up the FILL where required.
