Brief Description: Finish sanding rudders and port wing bottom
Allow a few days to cure properly in the chilly conditions, initially 24 hours under the heat tent, then a couple of days under electric blankeys.
Sanded rudders 240g with the Festool, using about 5 pads for each surface.
Sanded the port wing bottom 240g, achieving what looks to me like a fantastic finish. Took about 30 pads to do the whole wing, with the same forms and hand sanding for the fillets/winglet. A strong light across the surface shows shiny bits where I need more sanding.
Put the port wing back on the stand and the starboard wing on the table. After I get it all tied down I note I had forgotten to sand 320g. Wot an a$$hole... Leave myself a note on the wing, and wet sand the rudders surfaces to 320g.
