Brief Description: Strake top skin preparation
|
|
Trimmed fuel drain plug fairings, and found them amusing. Left a flange around the edge, leaving the option of fitting them with RTV after paint, or permanently prior to finishing. I have left room to get a socket onto the hex for removal. Dunno. May throw them away.
Profiled both strake leading edges, and spar seam, port side.
Refined fuel cap flange preparations, and cut the port side. Inner skin remains intact, and will stay that way until after paint.
Sanded starboard strake dip fill, and slathered more ultra dry micro thereon. Screeded it level again, achieving a pathetically inconsistent result. Profile looks good though, so I'll leave it to cure, and profile it with some less-dry stuff next time.
