Brief Description: Strake inner skins and sight gauges
Another 4 hours today removing the last of the dreaded 'sheers'.
Sanded repair area flat, marked the edge and squeegeed raw EZpoxy over all. Placed BID patches over the couple of small areas actually visibly damaged, then nice wet 4 oz over the repair area with REAL peel ply over the repair.
Assembled and finished trimming port strake top core, prepped and layed up 1 x BID with REAL peel ply overall.
Had a bit of resin leftover, and I am running really short, so roughly hacked out a starboard OD bulkhead, (which will be the side of my smoke oil tank), and hard-shelled.
Installed port sight gauge, added a bit more flox to the starboard feed tubes and covered both with overlapping 4 oz tapes.
