Brief Description: Lower cowling baffle taping and oil check door
Discover for the 107th time that I am 5 kinds of idiot. Unscrew the clickbonds, but am unable to remove the hinge from the clickbonds. The door doesn't let you go inboard more than a few mm. After much cursing discover that the movement available is enough to get the hinge pin out, which releases the door, which releases the hinge from the clickbonds. I can live with this. Going against the Cozy Grrrrl instructions here, just going with the flox, not adding any BID and fouling up the geometry.
Added ears of H100 with 5-minute epoxy to the sloping baffle to meet the sides.
Filled in a flox fillet around the lower baffles and taped 1 x BID on all joins, transferred on peel ply. Did not peel ply edges, trying out the manly way the EZ Hanger does things.
Floxed sloping baffle into position, clamped with wing nut cleco on the bottom, and rivet mandrels from the sides. Was obviously not proud of my work as I took no pictures.
