Brief Description:  Front thigh supports

Trimmed passenger thigh support, placed all bits in place and contemplate. Note that I had drilled a hole in the outboard pilot bulkhead and pondered why. Noted that when it is in place this hole is the only access to one of the screws holding on my control stick cover, (that I haven't built yet). Whilst drilling a matching hole in the passenger's outboard bulkhead, note also that it will be tricky to build the control stick cover with the bulkhead in place, and will forever be a hindrence if/when installing/removing it. I don't want to make this bit yet, untill the control system is complete, and I leave enough inboard clearance for required aileron deflection. Note also there is no room to tape the attachment on the outboard side, it is too close to the bottom of the fixed portion of the armrest, which is as depicted in the plans.

Then I had an idea. In the remaining removable thigh support in the back, the bulkheads are attached to the thigh support, rather than the fuselage bottom. The only reason not to do the same in the front is the bulkheads are penetrated by the roll trim control cables and the plans landing light, neither of which I am going to fit.

Attached both outboard bulkheads to thigh supports with urethane glue. Glued a bit of foam in the previously mentioned, but no longer required hole. Trimmed on cure and cut a flox corner, so the external tape will join to the upper skin.

Fill flox corner, leave a flox fillet along outboard seam and tape 1 x BID, and peel ply edges.

2 x BID over passenger thigh support.
