Took delivery of 10kg of MGS L285 resin, batch 030 and 5kg of MGS H287 slow hardener, batch 70249. Hardener/resin balance restored.
Played some more with CG Products hardware.
Cut elevator and aileron 1/2" tubes. assembled CS-50 and CS-181, but no rivets yet. Note what seems like an error in the plans. CH16 page 3 shows the installation of the Quick Disconnect (QDK), showing a measurement of 2.1" on the rivetted side but the diagram clearly shows the 2.1" going into the clevis pin side, with 1.7" on the rivet side. Open EZ plans have the same diagram with the relative lengths labelled as measured. Consulted the email list and nobody has any clue why, but the Open EZ (Long EZ) version seems to make more sense. Decision deferred.

Painted up and assembled my Rudder cable joiners, made from motorcycle chain and clevis pins. Looks quite professional, though these are the QDK clevis pins. A care package from Aircraft Spruce is on the way with shorter ones. :)
