Brief Description:  Propeller re-finishing

Over the last few days refine my prop balance/stand, then start to sand off the previous damaged finish with 240g wet. Stopping when I reach weave, same as finishing the plane. This leaves some previous finish/prime/fill/etc in places. So be it. I see at least 4 previous coats in places, starting with bare wood on the front and rear mounting hub surface, carbon fibre from a couple of inches from the hub to the tips, and BID over that around the edges of the hub. On top of that is some primer in white, pink and light grey, some traces of the original black finish, some traces of white primer over that, then dark grey and the latest silver finish. Very interesting process. There is some more, but it is in the next rough log, so I'll catch up later...
