Brief Description:  Finish sanding lower cowling

Over the last two days mounted the lower cowl onto the wing table and finish sanded, initially 80g dry, then 240g wet, excluding the repair area on the trailing edge.

Mounted the cowlings and reprofiled the trailing edge of the upper cowling to match my repair section, then trimmed the repair to the same profile as the upper. Looks much nicer now, but there is still a gap between the loser cowling and the port wing bottom. Hmmmmmmm. Needs more work.

Sanded the winglet repair fill with 40g dry, then 240g wet. A couple of divots remain. Am pondering it they need a WIPE...

A certain lack of pictures, as the camera is inside whilst I update this log, which had got 3 months behind on updating.

I have always planned on painting the inside of at least the bottom cowl. Need to assess what preparation is required for this.
