Brief Description: Finished lower cowling baffles, back to sanding
|
|
Sanded edges of lower cowling baffles a-la EZ Hangar, and gash myself 7 times on the edges. Sorry guys, you must be tuffer than me, peel ply next time.
Prepped exposed foam on sloping deflector with runny flox and taped edges, with peel ply.
Patched exterior holes with micro.
Gritted my teeth, pulled the port wing off and sanded the joins between the leading edge of the strake and wing starting with the spline sander, then switching to wet sanding 240/320g. Bunged the wing back on and chased shiny bits with 240g wet.
