Brief Description:  Port wing skin repair

Sand back the leading edge of the port wing to reveal a void in the foam much larger than I was expecting. Strangely, the micro under the glass seems more resistant to sanding than the glass above. [Puzzled].

Establish a clean glass perimeter, removing some of my beautiful finishing, and taper the glass 1" per ply. Am a bit puzzled as to what the layup should be, as this is where the top and bottom skin overlaps... Grit my teeth and decide to treat it as two plies.

Filled hole with dry micro then 2 x UND following original plies, and cap with 1 x BID and peel ply.

This has screwed up my finishing for the wing bottom a bit, but I'll just have to do it again when I do the top.
