Re-drilled and countersunk the cowling attach holes.
Trial fitted the gascolator, and discover the holes are countersunk for 3/16" screws, but the screws are only 1/8"!!! Refit the taped drill guide and fill all the holes bar the one I like the look of with runny flox.
