Decided I have achieved the profile I want in the aft fuselage sides, but the fill is a bit thick, so slap on 1 x BID on the affected area with peel ply.
Haven't had much luck with ragged edges when filling up to the edge. Discovered that I can hold a wood block at the edge of the part, slather on the FILL, then slide the block downward away from the fill without disturbing the edge. MARVELLOUS! Much easier than hot glueing taped blocks.
Applied FILL to inside of landing brake. Didn't slather, just filled the weave and squeegeed it off engergetically to make it easier to paint.
