Brief Description: Profile sanding, patching firewall edges and more
Truly indulged on my birthday. Ignored all other tasks and responsibilities and spent the whole day in the shed. Completely knackered afterwards, sanding is hard work.
Clamped metal firewall flat and sealed exposed fibrefrax edge inside NACA with high temp silicon.
FILLed the strake/blister/fuselage join with dry micro, smoothed to profile with some 1.25" diameter PVC pipe.
