Brief Description: Installing hinge brackets to canopy frame
Finished bolting canopy hinge brackets to F-28. Am no longer feeling particularly connipted.
Fiddled around with various methods, but eventually went with the CC plans method. Prep sanded the hinge pad area on the canopy frame, damning my earlier stupidity in applying micro to them. Had all the fun of sanding it off...
Prep sanded the hinge brackets and applied flox, then bent the hinges out of the way.
Refitted the canopy, secured in position with hot glue blocks.
Rotated the hinges and clamped the brackets, and made a fillet from the squooged out flox.
