Brief Description: Fabricate Tank Stiffener

1400 - 1700 Located and drill pilot holes in ER tank flanges using #40 drill. Install and clamp tank to wing rib. Match drill flange holes to rib. Remove tank. Shear 040 sheet in to 3" lengths for stiffener brackets. Debur and smooth all edges of stiffener brackets using s/b wheel, 16x. Cut 3/4 angle for stiffener, debur and smooth all edges using s/b wheel. Layout stiffener rivet line on rib, drill pilot holes . Clamp angle to rib, match drill stiffener using holes in rib, using #40 drill, cleco each hole as drilled. Drill out applicable rivets in wing skin. Clamp stiffener brackets to angle. Match drill skin holes in brackets, cleco as drilled. Clamp brackets to angle. Remove all clecos, remove stiffener assembly.
