Brief Description: Fabricate Tank Tip Stiffeners

1148 - 1500 Fabricate tank tip stiffeners. Layout and cut 3/4" angle. Debur and smooth all edges. Layout tip rib for rivets, drill pilot holes using #40 drill. Cleco angle to rib, match drill holes. Clamp 040 brackets to angles, match drill holes from skins where rivets were removed. Remove stiffener assembly. Final drill holes to mount brackets to angles using #30 drill. Dimple all applicable holes for flush rivets. Machine c-sink applicable holes in stiffener. Debur and smooth all edges and holes. Cleco stiffeners to wing structure. Install ER tank, cleco at pilot holes. Final drill tank mounts, rib, stiffener for AN3 bolt using #12 drill. Fabricate rear mount doubler. Cleco doubler to rib. Final drill pilot hole using #12 drill. Remove tank and stiffeners. Locate and drill stiffeners for mount nut plates. Debur all hloles, c-sink as required for nut plate mount.
