Brief Description: Install ER Fuel Tanks

1442 - 1700 Inventory ER tank kit. Per ER tank installation manual: Locate and drill pilot holes in inboard tank support brackets using #30 drill, 16x. Label brackets 1-4 for Left wing, 5-8 for Right wing. Clamp brackets to 4" tubing length in X pattern, using "Breeze" clamp. Center bracket assembly in lightening hole, one rib inboard from outermost forward rib. Centering was accomplished by adding 4 pieces of 1/2" plywood to 4" tube between each bracket. Plywood pieces were held in place using hot glue. Match drill pilot holes in rib using #30 drill, cleco each hole as drilled. Final drill all holes using #12 drill, cleco each hole as drilled. Remove bracket assembly. Debur all holes. Cleco assembly to rib. Install brackets using AN3 hardware, torque to 25 in/lb. Apply torque seal. Install ER tank in wing. Locate and mark top aft tank corner 9/16" below top wing skin. Clamp in place. Manual now calls for installing wing tip to verify clearance. Will now start section 24 and fit wing tip, using Click Bond nut plate install kit.
