Also this afternoon I sealed up the right fuel tank. Same procedure as the left ...... applied tank sealant to the inside edge of the fuel tank cover plate, stuck the cork gasket in place, then applied another film of sealant to the gasket. Then screwed the whole assembly in place onto the fuel tank.
I must be getting better at this as I seem to have very little of the lovely black sticky goop on my hands.
