- Check center of beam supporting rear and main spars with torpedo level. They were level. There is a very slight flex in the beams, but I judge it insignificant.
- Check the center of each spar with the torpedo level. They were level. See Figs. 1 & 2.
- Use the center spar template and check the angle of the main spar. Checked both ends with the template and the torpedo level. The spar was 9° ±~0.5°.
2. Attach Andy Elliott's suggested doubler to the bottom of the rear spar at the aileron control rod hole. See Fig. 3.
3. Begin drilling 3/32" & clecoing the rear spar, starting in the center and working towards each end.
