Brief Description:  eyebolts, motor mount welding fixture

This was a very random day. Started off with a little over an hour of flying the Baby Ace, just to be sure I remember how. I received an order of assorted part from ACS so I installed the proper eyebolts to connect the tailwheel steering springs to the rudder horn. I like the looks of them, still need to finish torquing and cotter pinning the castle nuts to hold them in place. I also received the 4130 tubing for the new motor mount I intend to make, so time to get serious about that sub-project. I used some muriatic acid to dissolve off the cadmium plating from some large washers to make the firewall ends and engine ends of the motor mount tubes. and I dug out the parts from my motor mount welding fixture and started tuning it up for this next build. After looking closely at how the engine approaches the firewall, I decided that I have more clearance than I need there, so my next version of the engine mount will be an inch shorter than the one I have currently holding the engine in place.
