Brief Description:  nut plates at wing tip, cutting 4130 for engine mo

This was another day of multiple smaller tasks. I did some more checking and planning on the fuel system, determined that putting the fuel shutoff valve immediately adjacent to the tank outlet will work, and will be reachable from the pilot's seat, so no remote linkage will be needed. I do need to find a 90 degree angle bend fitting with AN-8 flare fittings on both ends. The one I bought recently has a flare fitting on one end but a hose fitting on the other. I'm sure that will work at another location. Other tasks today included general hangar cleanup, cutting some 4130 tubing to rough size for the next rev of the engine mount, and installing some nut plates for the fiberglass trim pieces on the end of the wings. I had bought a new tool, a drilling jig for drilling the rivet holes for holding the nut plates in place. This is a very cool tool, very well designed, and makes the rivet hole drilling go much faster. I also wired up one of the new, all-white LED flashing lights that I intend to install in the fiberglass wingtips, and I do like the white much better than the amber ones I had mistakenly bought before.
