As I noted in the description of yesterday's activity, I tried a long diagonal cut this time as opposed to just cutting off the corner as i did on the other side. In order to keep this corner in the same plane as the rest of the front of the top cowling, I screwed it down to a table top before bridging the gap with three layers of fiberglass cloth. This was on the port side of the upper cowl.
