Brief Description: revising the cowl to move inlet holes outboard
I decided to cut out the starboard side top cowl corner that includes the outboard inlet hole, move it 2 inches farther outboard, and glass it into place to maintain that position. This should allow straight-line airflow for the air going aft to cool the alternator. It will also provide a wider landing spot for the extension of the side plates of the pressure plenum, and hopefully make the intake guide ramps for the main inlets easier to design. This is also good practice for the secondary bonding that will be needed when I go to add the carb air inlet and oil cooler inlet to the lower cowl.
