Brief Description: planning for alternator cooling
As I have been designing this pressure plenum, I have been keeping in mind the need to provide plenty of cooling to the alternator and ignition electronics on the rear of the engine. I have decided to do that by running a 2" SCAT tube from the outboard cowl openings to the alternator area. This SCAT tube will run along the outside edge of the pressure plenum, along the top surface of the rocker arm covers, and curve behind the pressure plenum aft bulkhead to cool that alternator area.
