Brief Description:  Baffle & addition rivets on center bellcrank locat

During the last few days, I worked not full time but managed to move forward. I installed the rubber seal on the baffle, fiberglass the ramp inlet on the top cowling side.

One thing I did was years ago I had a bolt alignment problem of the center fuselage bellcrank and I fixed it by adding 2 plates on both sides of where the bolt was travelling through. Then I redrilled the hole. An Aeronautical Engineer friend of mine told me that my original conception is good but lacked 2 rivets for strength as he calculated the amount of force that the bellcrank could see. He said with 2 additional rivets going through the angle would secure the whole thing.

He got me thinking and I added those two rivets as you can see in the picture. One additional thing I also did was to add in the hole some BJ Weld, a really strong "metal epoxy" and re-honed the hole . This was to simply give the bolt a perfect support even if the hole between the plates was maybe 1mm deeper. That way, it is a real through hole, and with the additional rivets , the repair is stronger.
