Today begins the assembly! Since the mast requires crush bars and sleeves installed for the folding mast, I decided to do these and have the mast ready for attachement to the keel and other support tubes. I went and purchased an arbor press (1 ton) to press the sleeves in. It took a lot of pressure to seat these sleeves fully! But, after a lot of sweat, and pressure, the lower mast will be ready for further assembly to the keel.
