Welcome to my Sportcopter Vortex build log!

I've been fascinated with Gyroplanes for many years, and finally got the opportunity to build one. I spent a long time looking over the different plans, kits to decide what suited my needs, and Sportcopter fit the bill!

When finished, my gyro will look similar to the picture here, but a different color, extender tanks, and some upgraded items.

I chose the Sportcopter for the ability to fold the mast - for easier traveling on a trailer - independent toe-operated brakes, and a fuel tank you don't use as a seat, unlike many other single seat gyros.

With a family and limited time on the weekends, this build may take some time, but the result will be worth it!
