Brief Description:  Strarting work on the panel

I have been looking at the wiring and the diagram Olaf left. I am grasping the system, and figuring out what I'm chaining. I did away with the unnecessary switches for ADSB and XPonder. These components are on the fuse block. I am not comfortable with the 30 amp alt. supply fuse on the fuse block. That could be too much load for it. I am going to mount a 30 amp CB on the panel. I will also replace the EFIS and COM circuit switches with CB's. I will make an essential bus on the lower panel that has EFIS, COM, GPS, NAV/Strobes, and Interior lights. I will also use this in the future to power an autopilot servo. I plan on using a circuit switch with this as it makes an easy source to remove power from the servos.
Update: The alt. supply fuse is tripped by the crowbar overvoltage protection connected to the alt relay pictured below. This shorts the circuit causing the fuse to pop. The normal load on this circuit is the alternator output. Still, I felt this was at the upper end of what the fuse block should have and could also be prone to a nuisance trip. So, it was moved to a resettable circuit breaker.
