Brief Description:  Sec Final-20

I want to close up the tunnel and then remount the center console with it's electronics, I've checked all of the items within the tunnel and replaced the marred fuel lines. The 2" scat tube for the rear seat heat, rubbed and interferred with the control linkage, and I had to squish it to get it between the fuel supply lines. I was somewhat worried about the heat causing or contributing to vapor lock. So... I covered the fuel supply lines with some 3/8" foam rubber insulation, and then I used the fiberglass reducres ( 2" to 1") I had previously fabbed to reduce the Scat tube to 1 inch where it passes through the fuel lines. I will no doubt cut down on the heat going to the rear seats, but I've yet to hear about an RV-10 that didn't produce Too Much heat through the heating system. I then closed off the tunnel cover and mounted the Andair fuel valve selector knob.
The OP EFIS draws close to 6 amps, and some have reported that during engine start it will reboot. I met Bob Newman (TCW) technologies @ OSH this past year and he had an intelligent power module that will supply a max of 8 amps to the EFIS ,during start-up. He sent me one, and I've been trying to figure out where to mount it. I finally settled on the front close-out panel under the right seat. There's just enough room to mount it and clear the control linkage at full deflections. so That's were it went, It also makes it easier to route the wires through the existing bundles on the side of the fuse, and up to the breaker panel, and common ground.
