Brief Description:  Sec 43-3 step3b

My estimate of the time it will take to prepare the inside of the cabin cover (2-3 more days) may be short. The 1st part of the day was spent with the files, rasp, & belt sander getting all of the 'varicois veins' removed from the 4 door posts. I hand sanded all of the remaining surfaces to get a sanded surface, but this still left hills and valleys in the fiberglass. I focused on the forward door posts and the windshield frame. Began using Bondo to fill the fairly deep 'valley' around the windsheild frame, then I switched to some filler that I saw on Scott Schmidt's site. It's called "Icing" it's s light weight filler used primarily for smoothing, it has micro balloons already mixed in and it sands easier than Bondo (which sands easier than Fiberglass) but is still fairly solid. I finished 3/4 of the forward cabin door posts. tomorrow I'll finish them and then tackle the back door posts. I want to get all of this inside surface prep done befor we leave for the rest of the week for a wedding.
