Completed about 70% of the flap actuating controls and aileron bell crank assembly. Routed the control cables and see that I'm probably going to have to trim some of the openings (as it says you may need to do in the book.) Now on to the fuel tank installation. Fabricated the 5 metal band straps and adjustment end connections to snug them into place within the wing. It probably took me about 2 hours to figure out the best way to do it, but then it started coming together pretty good. I realized I needed to work from both sides so I put the other end of the wing on the rotisserie to totate it. (I was holding off on that since that end isn't nearly as structurally sound at this point.) It made a big difference! What took an hour to start with narrowed down to about 10 minutes towards the end. Main tank straps 80% done. Will put the rubber chaffing proof strip under the straps during final installation.
