Brief Description: Cut tabs and test fit sky light
Got back from visiting the inlaws on Sunday and hard at it on Monday. Cut out and deburred about 110 tabs to weld to the fuselage for interior panel connection and for the sky light installation. Spent an hour or so marking out all of the tab locations iwth blue tape. Also cut out and test fit a sheet of Makralon brand (Lexan) poycarbonate for the sky light. I couldn't find the Lexan in a 4' X 4' sheet so ordered Makralon. The Makralon is much clearer but also much more brittel. Not sure if I'll use it on the sky light yet as there is stress created by clamping (later fastening) the edges which makes ripples. I know the Lexan will handle it, but not sure about Makralon.
