Brief Description:  getting used to this flying thing

Today wanted to test the AP and engine after I had an oil drip from the oil cooler hose which I tightened. We had a low ceiling of 2500 overcast so I had to fly under it and it made for a bumpy trip but headed to STK. Set the flight plan in the 430 and set the auto pilot to 7500 feet and to track the heading from the AP. Got to Sterling, CO (STK) then set up everthing for the return. I also ran the engine @2400 RPM for 20mins then down to 2300RPM per the breakin. I took these pics over GXY on the return trip of the panel. I also found that if you are bouncing around you can shut off the EFIS so will have to put a lock on that switch. They powered down and when I powered them back up I was to hold altitude and heading steady untill they went through the sync mode and then it was fine.
