Brief Description:  Final day of build school

Last day! This day will be checking and rechecking everything and installing all the acessories. Every few steps the quality inspection guy comes in and checks for the proper torques and installation of the parts as we finish each step of the building process, even Evan goes thru the same inspection. We cover up the acessory case, Install the oil pressure spring and screen. starter, the fuel primer tubes for 3 cylinders, prop governor casing and install plugs etc since I won't be using this yet. The caburator will be put on by the runup guy,( Darrel) when he gets it to the runup area. Then will take it off for shipment.. I installed the mags, both are left rotation and can be swiched, There is a gasket and a locking pin for install. Visually check for manufacturing problems then rotate to install the locking pin then when on top dead center for #1 install both mags with the locking pin in and leave the mount bolts loose enough so they can be adjusted left or right for the 24 Degrees of TDC. They will adjust the timing at the runup area They brought in barbeque from Dicky's for the last day so I pigged out, but it was good. The last thing was engine run up instructions, the final quality control insp and a picture with the Superior manager and a map on getting to the run up area to witness the first fire up which they were good enough to rearrange for me, This will take place tomorrow. This experience for me was well worth the time and money to go through. The people were great and informative. Would recommend this to anyone building a plane.
