Brief Description: Baggage area upholstery and crankcase sealant.
Fabricated headliner clamping strip and installed male “baby snap studs”. Measured and drilled for attaching screws, assembled with cross-brace, and clamped into place across fuselage. Snapped in the large AirTex baggage compartment piece and determined that the old placement of the cross brace is “off” by about an inch. Determined new location and clamped into place and marked for future permanent installation. Determined where lower snaps on that same piece line up, removed old snaps, installed new studs to fit.
Did a final cleaning of crankcase half seams down to bare metal using Dremel tool. Washed with MEK. Mixed Polysulfide sealant and applied.
