Temporarily taped the “Cessna 120” and” N number” decals on the tail. See photo. Sam helped me relocate the antennas. Tested communications to NY0 Unicom, transmit OK, receive has a hum on the signal. Will have to trouble shoot that at a later date if it persists.
Re-installed the ELT, ran the remote telephone-type wire, tested all functions, all OK.
Fabricated two aluminum clips to use in the cabin top to hold the headliner rod. Fabricated a bracket to stabilize the two fairings at the base of the VS where there are preexisting holes.
Went to ACE and bought two 1/8” steel rods to replace the two incorrect rods that came with the airplane. Bought an assortment of small SS screws for upholstery installation.
